My Story
Hi and welcome! I believe that you (that all of us) have the inner strength and resources to overcome your challenges and improve your life and I would love to walk alongside you in that. My goal is to partner with you to identify your goals and change the behaviors that are not serving you well.
While I work with adults, teenagers, and children, I am really passionate about working with children, and much of my experience has been in the school setting working with at risk students and students with behavioral issues. I really enjoy helping kids with emotional regulation and teaching social skills and was inspired to go back to school and get my masters degree so that I could do more to help the kids in our community.
I typically use a strength based or client centered practice when working with clients of any age. My goal is to create a safe place where people can feel safe to share. I enjoy helping people reach their goals of creating their best life. I would like to help strengthen families and help create healthy relationships.
I have two teenagers - one a freshman at MSU and one a freshman in high school, and I am attending Spring Arbor University in their Masters in Social Work Program. I will graduate in 2026. I enjoy horseback riding and hiking and reading, and I’d love to do equine assisted therapy in the future.
I look forward to getting to know you!
