My Story
Hello! My name is Grace, and I am a counseling intern at Paddock Counseling. I am currently pursuing my degree in a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cornerstone University. I expect to graduate in the summer of 2027. As an intern, I am looking forward to growing and developing in the field of counseling and psychology. I started my journey with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Women’s Studies. I am enthusiastic about supporting clients of all backgrounds and walks of life, but have a particular knowledge of women and women’s issues.
My goal as a counselor is to foster a welcoming and accepting environment for clients to pursue their own goals. In my work, I understand how important it is to have agency and say-so in your own story. For this reason, I work collaboratively with clients to resolve interpersonal issues, with clients acting as experts in their own lives. I am passionate about helping others, and truly love to connect with people.
My personal philosophy is rooted in the belief that through compassion and hard work, clients can achieve their goals and improve their mental wellness. I cannot wait to meet you!
