My Story

Hello everyone! My practice style is person-centered, strength-based, and includes the implementation of the holistic approach to mental health. This means that I will counsel centered around you, as a whole person, considering your personal needs, strengths, and goals. I believe that life and its difficulties do not have to be dealt with alone and learning the tools and skills to live a positive quality of life can be relieving and powerful. I can help individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD), emotional/mental health concerns, and trauma (both personal and medical).

I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Aquinas College, in 2017. I then earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University, in 2020. I am a fully licensed (LPC) clinician in the State of Michigan. I have also obtained my Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) licensure. Since 2019, I have worked with clients who have had both mental health concerns and substance use disorders.

Life can get messy. I have my own personal experience by being involved in the disabled community. Even faced with these challenges, I have grown in my personal journey with the help of my faith, support system, and counseling. I want to be that support for others through unbiased, non-judgmental, and empathetic behavior. I am a coffee enthusiast, reader, dog lover, and I love my family! I am so excited to work with you!
