My Story

Hello all! I am currently attending Cornerstone University with an anticipated graduation in the Spring of 2025 with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I obtained an Associates in Graphic Design and multimedia and a Bachelors in Animation from Westwood College in 2006.

I grew up in Northern Michigan from a young age. While growing up, I developed a love for various activities. Upon finishing high school, I lived in Chicago, IL, and after completing my undergraduate studies, I joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, and was there for the March 11, 2011 Tōhoku earthquake, tsunami, and radiation disaster, during which I was heavily involved in the relief efforts.

Since leaving the Navy, I now live outside of Traverse City with my wife and two cats, Archie Flerkins and Panzer Salem. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, puns, photography, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), woodworking, camping, and kayaking.

With a background in film and theater, I believe that everyone has a story worth telling. I would love to hear and be part of yours! This story shapes you into the person you are today and you are an expert in this, but your future story can change. It would be my honor to help you write the next chapter of your story.
